Trainor Marine was founded on a lifelong passion for boating, seamanship, and exceptional customer service.
Captain Cole Trainor, founder of Trainor Marine, hails from the North Shore of Massachusetts, and spent his summers in Magnolia, a picturesque village of Gloucester—America's oldest seaport. Growing up on the water, Cole developed a deep appreciation for boating and marine safety at an early age.
His boating journey began when he took command of his own dinghy at just nine years old before advancing to a 13-foot Boston Whaler. By age 12, he earned his first boating license and quickly progressed to operating larger vessels, including a 28-foot Sea Ray and Scout Center Console. His passion for boating, combined with years of hands-on experience, led him to obtain his United States Coast Guard 100-Ton Master's License by the age of 20.
Today, Captain Cole brings his maritime experience to boat owners throughout New England. His background spans a wide variety of recreational and commercial vessels, providing clients with the confidence that their vessel is in capable and experienced hands.
